Every piece we make is built to order for a specific client, a specific space, and a specific set of specifications. Because of this, custom-made cabinetry, millwork, and furniture from épure millwork are not eligible for return or refund once fabrication has begun.
All architectural millwork, kitchen cabinetry, walk-in closets, bathroom vanities, bespoke furniture, and commercial buildouts produced by épure millwork are made to order. Each project is fabricated to client-approved shop drawings, dimensions, materials, and finishes that are unique to that engagement.
Because these goods cannot be resold or repurposed, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on completed or in-progress custom work. All deposits and progress payments are non-refundable once fabrication has commenced, except as specifically provided in your signed project agreement.
This is standard practice for custom-made goods and is consistent with the FTC Mail Order Rule and New Jersey consumer protection law, both of which exempt goods made to a buyer's specifications from standard return requirements.
Items listed in our online shop are made to order by the same craftsmen who build our commissioned millwork. Each piece is fabricated after your order is placed and is therefore non-returnable for reasons of fit, finish preference, or change of mind.
Before placing a shop order, we encourage you to review all dimensions, materials, finish samples, and product photos carefully, and to contact us with any questions at vl@epuremillwork.com. We are happy to send finish samples or additional photographs prior to purchase.
You may cancel an order or project under the following conditions:
The exact cancellation terms for your engagement are set out in your signed proposal or project agreement, which supersedes this page.
If a shop product arrives damaged, please notify us within 72 hours of delivery, with clear photographs of the damaged item and its packaging. We will repair, replace, or otherwise remedy the damage at no cost to you. Claims made after 72 hours may not be covered.
For installed millwork and cabinetry, transit and handling damage is covered by our white-glove installation process and is documented and resolved on site.
We stand behind everything that leaves our shop. If you discover a defect in materials or workmanship, contact us promptly. Warranty coverage, duration, and remedies for commissioned projects are set out in your signed project agreement; remedies typically include repair or replacement of the affected component at our discretion.
The defect warranty does not cover:
If you have a question about your order, a delivery issue, or a possible defect, contact us directly and we will respond within one business day.
